Andy, yes a grand is extremely realistic for everything except covering the cost of a breakdown.


Im thinking of buying an E36 325 for the next trip (not easy for me to insure some of my cars abroard at the moment as my existing insurance wont cover it and finding insurnace on half a dozen heavily modified cars in one policy isnt easy)
If you like you are welcome to go for a part share in that, and share the driving/petrol etc as i may be doing that with at least one other person anyway.

At the end of the trip if its in one piece we sell it, if someone stuffs it up they pay the others back their share, something like that.
