btw, your spark isn't being 'blown out' - it's just that there is too much resistance in the air between the 2 electrodes meaning that the voltage isn't high enough for the spark to be able to jump the gap there. it will be finding an easier path to earth somewhere else. it could also be cured by making sure that all other components in the ht system are in good condition.

if you really want a stronger spark, go to coil pack or coil on plug
