hey i wasnt knocking em, just stated that the gauges are a better option for the engines saftey

but in that example just shows that the gauges are needed anyway as the monitor does the job that most gauges dont do anyway

if they made a secs monitor that done all AND used its own sensors would that not be a better choice than having the starship enterprise for a dash
