Anything the sensor "sees" is communicated by the monitor, as it reads the ECU- the ECU is dependant on those sensors.

So, if you had a TPS, Coolant, ACT, MAP sensor, or battery problem, the monitor would show that, as the ECU respons to the faulty input.
