Default 'Ring advice

When you have reached the end of a lap and you come under the last "gantry", there is a long straight before the exit to the pits. You can tell the "newbies", as they tend to then go flat out down here (any half fast car can hit 150+mph here).

My advice is to use the straight to cool the car as much as possible (cruising off the throttle at 90mph) and to then do a cool down lap of the surrounding roads (about a mile round trip). This prevents the heat shock of the temps ramping up if you just pull straight in and park up (warps discs and stresses the cooling system).

Just a bit of common sense, and it would be a bit like pulling straight into the pits after a hot lap on track and parking straight up - you wouldn't do that, so same principle applies.

Use your mirrors and indicate and pull over to the RIGHT so cars can always pass on left.

Watch out for bikes diving in on your inside.

Watch out for locals considerably faster than you in complete shit boxes (knowledge is EVERYTHING when 147 corners are involved) .
