So i thought i wud have a look at the relay to see if it has burn out or somethin only to find that some complete idiot has cut the wires and stuff and put a wire from the red connector to the yellow connector and they look like they may have burnt together...
So does anyone know of what colour wires i need to put in were and also if thats bad them bein put together???or shud i leave them and just replace the fuel pump relay??
hello

what engine u dropped in, an RST i presume. The fuel pump relay only really serves to switch the higher current draw, and as a safety device to cut off fuel circulation if the engine stops running. Up to you if you want it to operate as factory ones do, no performance loss if you decide not to.

With regards to wiring.....a YELLOW wire?????

I've wired two of my own cars and yellow wires dont usually go anywhere near the fuel pump relay. Yellows ive seen are either for the headlights, and auxiliary ignition position I.

to help i need to know what engine you've put in, and if its an RST lump, whether its EFI or MFI
