We recomend it mainly for track cars where cold start protection is not so much of an issue, ultimately the closer the viscosity gap the more stable the oil.

For day to day use the 10w has the edge as it is has the better cold start.

So if you like a good 10w-50 is more street friendly then a 15w-50.
