not being funny but re-shelling a car is not a weekend job if you do it properly!!

if you reshell a whole car over a weekend it will look a mess.

the loom issue is the big one as these looms are old, you run the risk of breaking some wires without knowing as well, an absolute bitch to sort.
I have previously reshelled a frst in one weekend for a friend and it wasnt a mess, granted they are much newer so i had no problems with the wiring breaking. thats why i said it was easy enough to do in a weekend, thinking about it, i do have access to block and tackle which makes the whole thing easier.

I think there is a restoration forum for people to show repairs and modifications to there vehicles which take longer than a weekend, it wouldnt make a very interesting read if everyone was doing a straight reshell.
