ok im not quite sure where to put this question and i did search before posting so i apologise if ive fucked up but.....

is it possible to fit 13cm speakers in the front footwells of a series 2 escort turbo?

went to halfords today and they only had adaptor plates to fit 16.5cm speakers, and they are far too big to go in the standard fixtures.

can anybody shed some light on my problem..?
