HPI doesn't matter a toss

I bought a 2 month old T plate Vectra for £1600 (guy had bought car brand new for £16,350 2 months before ) about 6 years ago - car had been rolled into a field 3rd party , guy was drunk apparently. No finance on the car (bear in mind this was before they classified salvage into categories....)
I put a roof skin, 4 doors, a tailgate, 2 wings and front panel onto this car . New windscreen, dash out etc...big job....!!
Car was spot on after it was done and I sold it on.....but this car was HPi clear and had been practically rebuilt.....

So don't go by HPI reports - go on the condition of the car
