I guess it depends on the quality of work that was carried out to repair it. Is there any documentation to support it??

Mine is registered as a 'Total loss'. This happened when it was 3 Months old (July 1989) and was rebuilt using a Brand New genuine Ford Shell and Panels for which I have all the receipts. The family run garage that carried out the repair then owned the car until I bought it 6 years ago. Hence why I was not particularly worried.
