Thanks again JT, yes I did try that and no luck still. Only option now i think is to replace the main loom, all the components have been replaced including the under bonnet loom and still nothing. Thanks for your earlier advice too, u gave me a good few things to try that I'd not have known
Also would I be right in thinking the CPS reads a missing tooth to make a pulse rather than 1 sender attached to the flywheel?
