Well, got the car there all in 1 piece, not problems..... running sweet
Watched the first group do there session..... and saw the worst thing (IMO) that could happened to you in a track car.... The Area Six black Fiesta burst into flames
That really put the nerves into me, and it was our group up next... sitting right at the front of the que at the pit exit and had to wait there while there clearing up the messing from the fire. Stomach was in knots !
Anyway, got under way, following the pace car.... then off we went. Car was flying untill i got to craners corner....... smoke started to fill in the car and was pouring out the back

Started to shit myself, was getting ready to go for the fire extinguishers, oil pressure gauge was all over the place but managed to hop it back to the pits. (Sorry if i was the cause of ending that session by oil on the track

)
Track marshalls rushed up behind me and stopped next to me.... me thinking the worst and my cars on fire

But a quick check under the bonnet show that oil was leaking out around the oil filter/sandwich plate/oil pressure take off block. Just dripping at idle but obviously spraying out all over the exhaust at high RPM.
Got car into the garage and up on the axle stands, checked everything over but all seemed ok. Started the engine again, still leaking. Couldn't tell were it was coming from. So took the oil pressure take off block off, still leaking.... next took the oil cooler sandwich plate off.... found a nice slash in the oil hose line

. Chopped it out, refitted it all and gave it a bit of a clean under the car and all was fine again
By this time, its was 3pm and i managed to get out for 1 session. AWSOME, car was flying... no problems

Caught on camera the white Saph spinning infront of me

and the scooby cutting me up

BUT i always had in the back of my mind that i still have to drive home again so called it a day. Sorry for not saying Goodbye to peeps. Got home in 1 piece too but ONLY just.... oil leaking AGAIN from around the actual oil cooler now and fans have stopped working
Apart from that, it was good watching the track action, espcially the RS500 touring cars
Good to see and meet alot of peeps of here, Peter (Eagle), Tony (Nuts RUS), Nigel (Sketch), Tim (Tim Butch), Lyn (Redkop), and Stu and obviously the PF lot camping
Sorry if i've forgotten anyone, was a manic day for me. Thanks to all the peeps who were helping me with my problems, was greatly appreciated
Will have "some"

footage to post up
So, my last words of warning and advice........
DO NOT SKIMP ON BRAIDED HOSES
