On the Cabrio, I am not sure .. but it will ne near the lamps somewhere, I think. Probably two or three brown wires. Rear no plate lamp is maybe earthed at the same place.

Rear Cylinder is suspect, tho .. If you can, see if it is leaking inside/under the sealing grommet by the end of the shoe.
