Is there a driveshaft bearing on the front? Normally fords have it on the o/s/f driveshaft (the longer one) halfway down the shaft, I know some fords used to suffer with that bearing wearing and getting noisy, not sure if the mondeo has it though
I haven't checked...it definately seems like it's osf in fact right under my feet..I thought the fact brakes were metal to metal was the cause only to road test and damn hum to still to persist
