Default diamond cut rs 7 spoke refirb

Will be aiming to get the refirb done in the next month or so. They are just looking a little tatty now as the clear coat has started to peel a little bit in a few places.

The question is do i get them re diamond cutand keep original or do i go for some thing different? Any suggestions welcome i am just worried if i go for some thing different it might ruin a nice set of wheels.

Here are the wheels on the car so you can see.

This place did mine. And the finish was better than factory IMO.

Got a reply back from them

They advised against getting them re diamond cut as it does not last that long, but if i want it they will do it. As they said they can only be done so many times as each time they do it they remove some metal. So they will need to measure the thickness.
The other options they have are a silver diamond cut look paint, which they have done a few sets in and both turned out really well the owners we pleased and it is a lot more durable.
the other is shadow chrome which they have also done a few sets in and again with positive feedback.
Prices are
drop the car in they remove the wheels and tyres dip the wheels to strip back to bare metal, remove and imperfections and flat spots, primer and base coat and bake. then diamond cut, or paint in the silver or shadow chrome. Shodow chrome and diamond cut is 300 quid inc vat and the silver paint is 250 inc vat.
That also includes refitting the tyres and balancing of the wheels.
I am not sure what to do now really ???

How's things with you mate? All quiet here really i am up at sultan in gosport at the moment until end of Oct on po's course.
