2.9 12v into 2.8 xr4i
Hello
I have a xr4i and i have removed the knackered 2.8 injection and going to replace it with a low milage 2.9 v6 12v from a late model xr4x4.
Engine rebuilt and ready to go in just need help woth the wiring
The loom is the lamaba sensor version i havr the complete loom from the xr4x4 and ecu
Can someone help tell me what need to be connected into existing wiring
Cheers

it's probably easier to find the non cat loom if i'm honest, it should have hydraulic tappets too so no need to adjust them
the cat stuff is a bit complicated to retro fit but it may be worth stripping down the loom to the bits you need as most sierra looms were sub looms for bits like the doors and windows with the rest of the dash loom being lighting and warning lights for the computer complicating matters
