Default cosworth rev counter and top end rev issues

Recently changed the inlet on the 4x4 cosworth to a larger one the car starts and ticks over perfect yet the Rev counter shows it at 2k

Next revs fine till top end then get a bit of spluttering , could that be the larger inlet more air etc so needing a good setup/mapping to cure ??

I've extended a couple of sensor plugs as they were to short for the bigger inlet so now you've said that I bet one of them is breaking down or not fully connecting I didn't use solder I used through crimps and heat shrink to tidy it up
