3000rpm tickover
when my ford puma 1.7 is cold and I start it up it revs up to 2000 rpm for about 3 seconds then drops to about 1000.
but if I shunt it about on my driveway it will rev up towards 3000 on tickover for a few seconds.
its spot on when it is hot and at any other time except if it is a cold day.
it has had a new idle speed control valve fitted and new throttle switch and ive changed the air flow meter and throttle body gasket and exhaust gas sensor.
any ideas?

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Could try removing the 3amp KAM (keep alive memory) fuse for a few mins then re-fit to reset learned idle values if the above parts have been replaced.
Costs nothing.
