Removing Valve Cover on Zetec SE
I'm trying to replace the valve cover gasket on my 2001 Focus (1.6, Zetec SE, UK model).
In between the connectors for spark plugs 2 and 3 is a cable containing 2 wires (yellow/red, yellow greenas far as I can tell). These pass through a hole in the valve cover and go to what looks like a yellow plastic connector mounted on the cylinder head - presumably some sort of sensor.
I've no idea how to disconnect the wires, so this is stopping me from removing the valve cover.
Can anyone offer advice how to disconnect these wires?
Cheers

Thanks. I found that it's easiest if you use the neighbouring spark-plug hole to get the scerwdriver into position. Got it out now and gasket changed. Hope that cures the oil leak!
