Default compression struts question.

i'm fitting compression struts to my 4i, do i need a bush where it meets the tca?

no if you have the right kit it bolts direct through it

compression struts are good but they have there down side the m10 bolt that clamps through the tca is very small compared to a roll bar & both of mine snapped getting it out of the garage







so if you really have to have them then get them machined out to m12 & DO NOT use zinc plated bolts as they are weaker than self colour bolts .,
