i have recently purchased a P100 tipper and i need new tyres, now the question;

the tyre guy offered me a whole set of 196/60/14 for a very good price.
Is the stepp from 185/80/14 to much? i have got no idea about that the only thing is that all these tyre size calulator pages tell me they are 60mm smaler in diameter and that is about 10% less than the originals. by the way my speedo is way out with the original tyres anyway reads 45mph when doing 30mph, got no idea why.

what were the tyres the truck originally tyre sizes translate from those numbers u have posted 195 is the width of the tyre .60 is the height of the tyre which is 60 percent of the width ,14 is the diameter of the rim/ probably find they are close to the right size

The originals are 185r14 and according to all the covering websites the 195/60 14 will be 10% smaller what will be around 60 mm.
Went and measured the 185s turns out they are 25 mm smaller than stated everywhere. So I might take the risk anyway
