Default Focus ST170 and fitting Brembo's

Hey,

I have a focus st170 and needless to say the brakes are pityful! I was wondering how hard would it be to fit focus rs brembos to it? I know that the focus rs has 325mm discs and the st has 300mm so will i require a bracket to be made or is it a direct replacment? Anyone done it before?

Cheers

All you need right here, bit of a pain, your at a HUGE advantage having an ST170 as your strandard knuckles do not need changing. I find my ST170 brakes quite ok, people upgrade to ST brakes and are usually very happy. I have 20 groove disks all round and green stuff pads though which make a difference. I do find the 300mm ST brakes are prone to warpage though.
