Default zetec e piston rings

i want to change the piston rings in my 2litre fiesta as there worn what is the nxt stage of rings i should go for is it std rings again are they expensive to buy

I would say the rings will be around £100 a set, you need to get the rings to suit the piston size, ie std, .25, .50 etc.
Don't forget to hone the block as well, helps the rings bed in much better.

ive had the feeler gauges out and the top compression ring with allowences is between 0.30 and 0.50 .ive just put a 0.50 and it doesnt have a drag feel i can slide it up and down.so when getting a new set off rings it wouldnt be std would it
