just had a recon turbo fitted to my escort s2 rs i paid to 250 for the replacement turbo it was rebuilt and reconditioned apparently but im unsure when i got the car back it pulled a whole lot better it spins the wheels when i change gear at high revs but... the car smokes heavly from a cold start up it never used to it doesn't smoke on boost it smokes when u let the throttle off then when u put it back on it will smoke a little and sometimes at traffic lights i think its the valve stem seals but it never smoked until i replaced the turbo any info would be appreciated

check compressor housing to cooler for oil running out of it but tbh sounds like stem seals u only need 1 to go to cause this also very easy to do on a cvh but use good quality seals

but u say it never done it before possibly a oil issue wrong grade??was it/should have been changed when turbo was done?
