focus diesel t.d.c!!!
For gods sake can someone help?
T plate Focus diesel 1.8 links engine.
Where the hell is true T.D.C. when doing the timing? With the head off and using a locking tool on the crankshaft fully locked on, the piston crown on No1 piston is aprox four mm below the block.
However, when the locking pin is removed and and crankshaft is adjusted, T.D.C. on no1 is two mm above the block, meaning their is a differencial of around 6mm between visual T.D.C. and the physical T.D.C according to the locking pin. What one is right? I really need help on this.
