Default mondeo t.d immobiliser problem

Hi all, i decided to put a mondeo t.d enigne into my fiesta courier when the engnie gave up. The problem now is the pump isnt letting the fuel go to the injectors because the pumps pat code is different from the keys code. Is there any way of sorting this out or have i got to put a straight diesel back in? Any help would be really helpful.

can you not just run an ignition fed live to the stop solanoid?

Or iirc if its similar set up to a transit there is a chip to swap on the injector pump, fitted behind anti tamper plate which will need removing

hi mate iv dun stuff like this a few times now on mondeo 1.8td,
u get the same problem if u jus change the pump, it shouldnt even crank!
anyway you need to remove the tamper proof plate from the two pumps (original for car and new) and swap all the electric gubbins over keepin the original items to the car on the car. fuel pump will let its fuel through then, should also crank over again. you will need to remove the pump off both engines i woul think, put 1 in a vice and tap the shere bolts out with a punch
good luck regards mart
