wiring on cosworth starter motor

Default wiring on cosworth starter motor

just after some advice about the wiring to the starter motor on a 2wd sierra sapphire cosworth how many wires go to it and where do they come from as i im putting my car back together and cant find the wires i have the main one from the battery fitted just wondered what other ones go to it and from where as i can t find any spare at the more

There should be the main one from the battery and then the solenoid wire that goes from position 3 on the ignition

As said, will be a thickish wire, think from memory they are black with a blue tracer, will be black anyway as this is live,(switched live that is).
I think it comes from inner wing wiring on to of chassis rail on nearside.
