pacifica blue saff cossies?
Hi all, been a long time since i been on here but just accuired new cossie!
just wondered if anyone knows of any pacifica blue saffs, obviousley not an origional colour and was curious if there are any more out there as most folk in RSOC i spoke to havent seen another one.
it is NOT imperial blue, so annoying when people say that
here he is after 3 months of getting it the way i want it, wheels, lights, splitter, carbon bits, T4/ext wastegate ported head, cams, siemens injectors etc etc etc

i have to take the bumper off every time i reverse the car into the back yard so pins make it much easier to slide off, and look cool
numberplate was a quick fix when i had no bumper and needed to move the car arround to get a few things fabricated.
car is mostly street use but first trackday is croft RSOC saturday and sunday and will get thrashed on the 0-60 both saturday and sunday hopefully.

cossiegreg1 now mate alright. i asked you if it was imperial!! lol.
as far as i know it isnt, none of the paint matched the bumper as said before.
cosmatt: That was mine for ten years. I had it painted from moonstone to that, but its not pacifica mate
any idea what it is then, i had to paint the bumper and the only paint code that matched was early pacifica, imperial was nowhere near. Who made the colour code tag for it then? been stamped out of ally by the looks of it
the youth: hello sean long time no speak, you've changed jobs eh? what you doing now them?
didn't know you were on track at croft, hope your in my group, will look forward to that
im on track sunday but will be on the 0-60 sprint all saturday if i dont smash the diff,
just fitted external wastegate setup and rear housing this morning along with screamer pipe, sounds nuts was hopeing to get antilag sorted before croft but having problems with the chip to run the motor at the minute so it will have to wait.
will be on race fuel and depending on delivery dates, 11lbs of laughing gas
off to bed now as just finished work and got my bike CBT at 9am.
as said before my number is new and free for everyone to call if im wanted.
Sean.

hopefully some more pictures,
ignore the crap photography please, and messy engine bay and that it has both an external wastegate and an actuator (actuator rod is welded shot untill i fit my other ex. housing at the weekend!)
rocker cover will be slightly different in colour, propper breather will be piped up, battery re-located into boot, and all blue hoses will be erm......... not blue!!
all this in time for croft hopefully.
i am very very very interested in people with pacifica cars to post pics to see if colour os similar/same as i had a mk5 xr3i cabby parked next to it and it was identical except mine seemed to have more metalic bits visably shining in the sunlight.
look at the pain tag though............ did a close up picture too!

Hi mate, sorry dont get on here much, the colour your looking for is aprillia oxford blue. I stamped that colour plate a few years ago when it was pacifica blue. The idea was to just freshen it up a bit but decided on bit more sparkle. I sold it to guy down south who dont think treated it as i did.Was a very young lad. I fitted the siemens, made the inlet, bored throttle body as far as i dared, fitted 14 and 16,6.8 comp pistons etc etc. I owned it for 10 years and it was my pride and joy mate. I flared the front wings slightly to clear 8j rims. I sold it as i decided to cozzy my mk1 escort rs2. Hope she`s good to you buddy. Was running 32psi when i sold it and went quite well. Just before i sold it,this was how it looked.
new project
Hope this helps you mate and look forward to seein you at the shows. National day perhaps? Oh and what happened to the triple cooler that was on it?

Matt i can assure you the car is in good hands now!
i picked the car up with the intention of driving home but decided to take it on a truck just incase.
faults i found next day..............
crank pulley loose
live amp cable in the metal boot well
nackered clutch/box (didnt get to drive the car)
no horn/washers (wiring had chafed through and was earthing on body)
fans wired straight from battery, no fuses/relay!!!!
butchered exhaust
numberous loose items in engine bay
o/s/r wheel loose
all speaker wires removed
radio plugs snipped off
i wrote neirly 3/4 page of faults on A4 paper.
looks like the car had stood up a while as it was manky with tree sap, when he took me out he seemed terified by the car, it was wet when it came on boost in 2nd and he backed off at 5000rpm when it stepped sideways hehehe, defanitley terrified the way he gripped the wheel.
i would like to meet Chris again in person and i wouldnt be shaking his hand or saying hello thats for sure.
i wasnt informed about the 2 stage boost switch either.
anyway if you like i could send more detailed pics and spec list but i can assure you this one will stay longer than my last one did (6yrs)
i am soooooooooo glad the paint is one off, not another one in the country!!!!!!!!
p.s what turbo did you have fitted looks like it was nearly T4 size?
kindest regards, Sean

orion looks very nice by the way, i love orions i had a white 16e a few month back on escos rims. sad when it went.
i got flashed over in the street off a lad in sheilds who took pics of the car as his mate had the pic of it at donny/silverstone as his PC screensaver!!
i bought the car as i remembered it and that very car started my whole dark blue saff lust, needless to say when i dug the old fhotos out i nearly pi55ed myself to see it was my unicorn car that started me off in the first place
i was devastated when i thaught it may have a chance of being imperial blue but im uber cool now i know the car is a true one off
