I'm sure i'm right in thinking that is the carbon quarter in primer, if so do you have to put anything on before paint I.E platic primer or does it just require a rub down.

I absolutely love projects like this, it's the sort of thing (mebbe not quite as hardcore) I'd love to get into once I've done my engineering degree. I've already drawn up plans for a couple of motors once I'm clear of debts but those will be nowhere near as awesome as this looks.

I paint carbon fibre quite often in my Job as I spray harriers. You can rub down carbon fibre, But you just have to be careful, as they say.. "its all in the prep"
