next few crail's events
CRAIL RACEWAY NEWSLETTER

This Sunday (20th of February) is Crail's first non mag day of the year. If it's maximum track time your after, then be sure to make it along to Crail for more 1/4 mile action, and why not fit in some practice on the figure of 8 sprint/drift track at the same time. For those who didn't make two weeks ago, we had a great Fast Car meet. Some of the finest machinery in Scotland made it to Crail for the Show and Shine. All that effort spent over Christmas, fitting, polishing and improving, paid off for those who walked away with prizes.
In two weeks time Crail welcomes PERFORMANCE FORD, which makes it up for the mag's annual trip to Scotland's Drag Strip. If you are a fan of Henry Ford's blue ovaled badged machines, then this is the event for you. Don't worry though, all vehicles welcome as its business as usual on the 1/4 mile and our drift/sprint track, which gets busier week on week. There will also be prizes for non Fords in the Show and Shine.
2005 looks like it's going to be our most exciting year yet. Banzai returns on the 3rd April for the 'Rice Rocket Roll Out' - the Show and Shine will be open to all non Jap motors as well. May brings our biggest event of the year with MAX POWER in attendance - adult dance tent filled with HEELS ON WHEELS; action from PYROMANIAC the jet quad; tented trade areas; special appearances from top ICE manufacturers and their specially imported promo vehicles; STEER FROM THE REAR drift stunt team; TERRY GRANT and his new line up, and more acts to be confirmed from Europe ....watch this space. For Ultimate Scottish Streetcar (USSC), there will be two rounds to find Scotland's fastest cars and bikes. One will be held at Crail on the 29th May and the other at Edzell on 24th April. This will help in our Quest for the Best at the REDLINE USSC - where the fastest cars will go straight through to the shoot-outs. Don't worry if yo! ur car is not ready by the qualifying dates as there will be a chance to qualify on the day itself, up till 2 pm, followed on by the shoot outs. FAST CAR is back for its Summer Show on the 10th July, with some exiting surprises in store for this event - our Summer Cruise Spectacular. This is only a small taster of what to expect for the 2005 season. It's going to be large this year!
