Shouldn't have bothered...
It'll idle poo, dump when it wants, and generally drive like a bag of sh!t!!!
Best is standard, been there, done that with our A3...
Had nothing but issues with the Forge valves...

What the hell did you do wrong with it? We fitted them to my bros old a3 and 2 seperate mates golf and leon spot on both times. They do require a little service every year or so takes about Ten mins to do this is something people never tend to remember.

As with everything though you may of had a bad one or your motor just might not of liked them? I will report back on how this one goes if for some reason its no good then i can soon stick a new oe one back on.

on friday evening i gave the 007p a good check over then cleaned out and regreased all the required bits works like new now and is something i shall do every year to keep it in top shape.

yesterday my new breather hoses and vacuum hose arrived im going out to fit the 007p and vacuum hose and also the smaller breather hose, going to fit the bigger one when i receive the new oe plastic breather pipe which i understand is prone to breaking when changing the hoses.
i have also got a 2 piece n75 boost hose kit from creation motorsport which will be with me next week so ill be fitting that next weekend

i cant report on how it is yet as when fitting the top breather hose i fount the pipe that was causing the engine management to be on, the lower breather/pcv hose had been taped up onto the top one and had a huge hole in it totally perished, i then follow the pipe down to the bottom and to my horror it was totally split to where it fits and was hanging on by a thread

Name: 20150405_165438_zpszl4no0vg.jpg
Views: 748
Size: 1.97 MB

as it was obviously not even remotely doing its job i removed it, well in fact it just dropped off when i moved the pipe as you can see totally shot and the bit of bottom half that fits onto t piece is still on there.

so the search is now on to see if GSF or TPS are open today? i know my local a2z motor spares will be open but unsure if they stock the hose and am sure eurocar parts do not stock it either.
i actually spoke to my local skoda dealer last night they are open today but parts section is not

well i managed to to a temporary fix on the breather hose with a piece of garden hose, so i have now ordered a silicone lower breather/pcv hose as this should eliminate any future problems from that area, so i will be fitting this with the other lower silicone breather hose i have

new pcv hose

i have also ordered a new breather hose pipe as i have been informed that they break down/split/leak boost over time so may as well put a new one in whilst working on the bottom part of the engine breather system

the pipe in question

little bit of an update received my new front and rear bosch aero wipers so fitted them yesterday much better looks wise and certainly perform better than the ones they replaced.

my n75 and lower dv silicone hoses and the 3 breather hoses/pipe will be here today but i have not got the car all weekend as the wife is doing 2 12 hour shifts so iv booked next friday off work and am heading down to my other mates garage retro motorsport in stoke to get them fitted just in time for us to give the car a nice little run to donington park on the sunday for the btcc

i will be ordering an sfs oversized tip at the end of this month and get it fitted before we head off to the lakes on the 20th may

n75 and lower recirc valve hose arrived yesterday

i have also ordered a silicone turbo outlet pipe from the same company

iv made an offer on an sfs oversized tip should here back from them today if its accepted then i think it makes sense to fit this the same time as the turbo outlet pipe

today iv decided to drop the wife off at work so i can have the car and give it a good clean going to be using cg blacklight and poorboys nattys blue wax to top it off i will of course post a few pics after

well my offer got accepted on the sfs oversized tip
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3511679663...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

even though it states this one doesnt fit the vrs it is made for engine codes auq and its the same part number as iv read on briskoda forum to get AH15/A

below is a comparison picture of the oe tip and a creation tip please note the creation tip is not an oversized one either so the difference will be even greater

taking the car for a nice little drive to donington park tomorrow for the bttc ill only be driving one way as ill be sampling many beers whilst there haha

yes after alot of research iv decided keep it oe from the de cat, the oe system has ran on cars at 250bhp so certainly not a restriction as long as you do the decat downpipe

i would not tee your dumpvalve into the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line mate as if you ever get a vacuum leak on the dumpvalve your engine could end up running massivley lean, i always leave fpr vacuum pipes to do the fpr only for this very reason

Never looked at what it does around town but when i check the average mpg when we fill up its always between 30-40mpg.
i did however check the mpg on a motorway run and at 70mph in 5th gear was seeing over 40mpg

Hi everyone been a hectic last few weeks for me and the wife.

Anyway onto the car im still yet to purchase a revises lower boost hose and decat downpipe but rest assured this will be done in good time.
I have yesterday bought a set of uniroyal rainsport 3 tyres for the car and these will be fitted next saturday morning.

The car has developed a sort of sqeaky/rattly noise coming from the front end at low speed/revs we were thinking maybe worn bushes dogbone etc but when i finally got to drive the car i dipped the clutch whilst the noise was there and the noise intanstly stopped. So im not sure if it needs a new clutch or flywheel? Any help on this much appreciated.

My plan is to sort whatever the above problem is but regardless i have decided to refresh the front end bushes on the car for powerflex ones these will be dogbone front and rear, front wishbone and top mounts. The bushes on our car could have very possibly done 147k so id say are pretty worn.
I am also going to be changing the springs and dampers for h&r 20mm springs and koni dampers this matched to the new rubber and new bushes should make the car a little better on the handling front.

Got quite a boost leak on the motor atm not sure where its coming from but i have read the lower boost hose was a common fault and as far as i can see or find out it has never been replaced for the later revised hose. I have purchased a vgc second hand revised hose and will get it fitted asap. Hopefully this will resolve the issue if not then it will be a case of finding and fixing the leak.

The rainsport 3 tyres have made such a big diiference to the car money really well spent i also purchased an audi tt front upper strut brace and that will go on tuesday along with the new flywheel and clutch.

Next month we are gong to replace the rear springs and shocks and top mounts and the following month the same for the front suspension keeping it all oe as i want to keep thr car as practical and comfy as possible im sure a suspension refresh along with new bushes combined with the strut brace should keep things nice and tight etc.

Couple of questions is it worth getting the audi tt lower front brace? And what rear anti roll bar is best to get? Are there any from the vw group that can be fitted with good results?

Hi mate not had chance to look yet but i did take off the forge 007p diverter yesterday to give it s little service and noticed the 2 rubber o rings are past there best and not sealing properly so id say a bit is leaking from there. I have ordered a proper service kit from forge to sort that out so ill get that done one night this week once it arrives.

I use to run a r-spec dual port on my evo it's basically a copy of a APS one but that was a good bit of kit and not expensive if you fancy later changing what you have now. Hopefully you will find that leak but they can be an arse to find.

Right well the forge service kit turned up today so i removed the 007p and replaced the 3 o rings and the valve which seems to be a revised version with an o ring sitting at the bottom of it as well.
When i removed the 007p i tried the simple test to see how much the body dropped and it virtually dropped all the way down after i had serviced it id say it drops no more than a few mm so defo an improvement.

I have just sent the wife out in the car to test it out as iv been down my bros having a bbq and a few beers i will report back with how she finds it asap

Sorry for the delay in updates guys

Right onto the boost leak i got to drive the car and boost is absolutely peeing out so i have ordered the revised lower boost hose and i had a dig around under the bay and low and behold i find one of the aftermarket creation boost hoses that was fitted by gt motorsport is not fitted correctly and in fact the jubilee clip was not even attached to the end that meets the charge pipe.
I had a go of getting it back on straight and tightening the clip back up but the clip just keeps slipping off the hose. At this point my bloody glass back decided to kick in and i had to leave it as it was.
Anyway i have the car rebooked in with a skoda specialist in stoke named tqc they are going to fit the new clutch and flywheel along with sort the upper 90deg boost hose and fit the lower revised hose at same time fingers crossed this will solve the boost issue

Next month i will be ordering the audi tt lower front strut brace to fit along with the upper brace and uprated dogbone mount.

I have also priced up replacing the suspension with oe items and it comes to Ł421 so iv seen a full kit by koni sr-t that lowers 20mm all round that comes in at Ł358 that looks as if it will be the choice when the time comes to carry out the job.

Hello mate,

What did GT motorsport say when you told them about the pipe? hopefully thats the only one to sort but sounds like everything is getting sorted.

Hi mate hope you are well

It turns out that the creation boost hose just was not a good fit at all and no matter what we did it would just pop off even when using jcs high grip clips, so we refitted the oe boost hose and hey presto fits perfect and no more boost leak from that area.
I did think it was strange that gt motorsport would not of fitted something properly as they have always been good for me.
We still have a boost leak and i know exactly where its coming from its the problematic lower boost hose that joins to the bottom of the charge pipe, after doing a bit of research i was told to fit an agu charge pipe and hose as these are fitted with clips instead of push fit so will not blow off so easy. These are on order and will be with me next week.
Whilst we were at it we solved another one of the annoying noise issues coming from the rear which turned out to be worn brake pads on passenger side so of course replaced both sides.

Update for anyone interested

Agu charge pipe and silicone agu pancake hose arrived and was planning on fitting it this friday, but whilst at work today i got a call from the wife saying the engine light had come on and car had lost power etc.
so told her to take it to ian at tqc who got the car in for us and it was diagnosed to have coil number 3 down so a new coil ordered and fitted along with the agu charge pipe and hose, cant report back on it yet as not picking the car up until tomorrow.

I know Audi recalled coil packs
We had 4 newens free of charge
If you're are originals I'd ring Skoda and get them to check...

You going Gold Cup this year, posted some details in the show area if interested...

Well being a decorator sometimes has its perks, got speaking to ian at tqc last night and they need there reception and hallway area repainting somi struck a deal with him which is as follows.
He supplies and fits 3" decat downpipe and then remaps the car which he agreed to so i get the work on my car done and not costs me a penny and he gets his place spruced up win win i say.
