Received my trouser section back from mkmotorsport yesterday, mega pleased with it!!
As im goin twin scroll, to make it a true twin scroll setup using the 2wd manifold it meant the wastegate take off had to be split 50/50 all the way to the gate, this meant splitting the take off tube, adding a divider, welding the take off back together! The work is awesome and i thank mark for his work!! Welding is top notch
Some pics..
Well happy

Popped down the unit this morning, couldnt really be arsed though so didnt stay there long
Got the modded trouser section heat painted..
And fitted..
Threw some more reflect a gold on the turret as the wastegate sits pretty close..
Then had a little test fit of the turbo, had to grind off this lug on the head, will have to do the other as well as itll foul the vband clamp on the exhaust housing..
Turbo sat in place and wastegate fitted, not bolted up as the exhaust housing is being changed so needs to come off again anyways..
These turbos sit bloody close to the head
Loads of clearance with wastegate though
And thats where i got bored and left

Not much to report really, spent s couple of hours in the last few days doing a few bits, nothing major..
Removed rear beam and diff, diff will be sent to bara for an upgrade, have a beam ordered and should be with me soon
Whilst removing, i had a pleasant surprise of finding these..
Billet rear hubs, cool after a quick clean and bearings removed..
Fitted headlights and grille, dont know why, but i did lol..looks more like a car again i guess!
Had a few bits arrive yesterday, -an fitting adaptors for the steering rack, rear bearings, new pulley bolts and tensioner bolt..
Got the rack fitting fitted, will have to modify the subframe slightly as one of the fittings will foul on it..
Oh and bought a new heater for the unit, bloody cold at the mo...
Well not anymore

No updates this weekend as have been helping a mate put with his mega spec s14!!
Did buy some new seats from my mate brads time attack evo though
Mmmmmm carbon
Am going to try and get a new cover for one of them from corbeau, One is like brand new, the other you can tell has been used, being a time attack car, the passenger seat hasnt been used, would like them to both match and be mint..
Have also ordered a few more mkmotorsport parts, more on that when they turn up though

Spent a few hours down the unit last nite and this afternoon, a few bits done
Popped to think automotive for a few more bits of aeroquip to do the rack and turbo lines..this is what £255 looks like...
Had to remove the rack to get the fitting screwed onto the rack fitting from mk..
Rack then fitted back on and lines made up, cant complete pressure side just yet as the pump is away being machined to and welded to take a -10 fitting for the feed.
This is how close the fitting is to the subframe, hence having to remove to screw it on, really hope it dont leak lol its a polava!!
Then it was onto the turbo..
Cut off the other lug on the head, not the neatest job but its hard in situ, wont be seen anyway, its hidden by a fucking great blower!! Lol
I then removed the exhaust housing to heat paint the same as the manifold..
And refitted it, much better and started to make up the water and oil lines..
Just the oil drain to do.
Changed the pulley bolts and washers..
Dunno if its a bit too bling bling, which isnt the look i wanted lol, still i dont imagine itll stay like that!!
Had a couple of deliveries..
Steering uj bush and rear beam bushs.
Got the uj bush fitted..dunno if iv done it roght or not but it looks good lol.
That is all.
Am waiting on some parts to arrive before i can do anything else really...mkmotorsport pull ya finger out son lol
