I do have some rc1000s, although they will be overkill I think.

It'll be going to mark shead anyway hopefully so I'm sure it'll be spec'd just right

Depends where you get it done mate, this little lot cost me Ł30, I cleaned them all up on bench grinder first though. Some places are alot dearer though, my last project for example, a guy charged me Ł200 for all the nuts and bolts I removed, although I didn't clean them up.

Got them all together, realised they'd sent me the wrong bearings, pulled my back, now on the sofa in a lot of pain indoors.

A bad day had by me

Thanks mate. I was hoping someone might get a video of it on track as I've never heard it from outside lol!

Yours is the grey series2 right? Yb powered?

Front legs and main hoop feet look to be floating, should be on platforms at least and window bar is a. Wonky and b. 4" from the roof. Not a dig at the car at all mate so please don't take it personally because as said its a cool car!! Just concerned for your safety.

No, don't worry mate I'm not going to take offence lol!

The feet are bolted in but as the inside have a step in the floor pan, decided against bolting it in for now because I didn't want to bend the floor trying to get it right as the plan is to have a new one welded in.

tbh ive been waiting for someone to actually spot it and you are the first (well, that's actually said to me lol)

I feel kinda bad now lol.

It's only half bolted in on the floors, it's only half on the shelf as it were. Definitely won't save you should the unexpected happen. A weld in cage is what you need as its a custom car, no bolt in will look right. Will stiffen it right up also!!

I have an eye for this sort of thing, sorry for noticing haha.
