1993 Escort 1.8
This popped up for sale and was a bargain price, too good to pass up so myself and the brother called over to have a look at it and we bought it there and then.
There isn't much spec on it but we're gonna strip it down to a bare shell and build it up again.
1.8L engine
Full Cosworth kit
Full Recaro interior
Genuine Escort Cosworth alloys
Quad headlights
The car has been undersealed along the ridges of the car, we're gonna clean it down fully and spray stonechip underneath. It also badly needs a respray as it was painted matt black with a paint brush. We're looking at painting it Imperial Blue, but those plans could change. One things for sure it wont be painted red or white!!
Ill update this as we do the work to it, its a good base to work with. My biggest regret is selling my old Escort with a heap of parts on it that we could of used on this build.
Does anyone know is it difficult to convert the rear brakes from drums to discs?
