Yeah ive been looking on his site quite abit, he's got some nice stuff in for not bad prices.

And Yeah I probably will be, that's one of the next things I have to decide on, just haven't had much time, which sucks But ive just got MT to price up the mag Rear end they have in at the moment so hopefully he'll get back to me pretty soon

Yours is looking very nice, you using it for track/rally or just fun?

Is there anyone in the Whitby/scarborough/ York area that is very good and neat at Mig welding, as I need abit doing to the cosworth ASAP. The person who as suppose to be doing it, has gone abroad working and was only suppose to be out there for 2 weeks.... 2 months later still not back, so im along way behind where I wanted to be with the project now so if you know anyone please get in touch and I'll let you know what I need doing.

Cheers

UPDATE. Just picked up the group A magnesium rear beam that was originally off one of the Michelin/Pilot cars, from Mark at MT Motorsport big thanks to mark learnt a lot about the car today and the way i'm going to take it, so I got it booked in with Geoff at R.E.D at the end of June for the rest of the fabricationafter the person who was suppose to be doing it messed me around But its starting to take shape now
I'll try and get a few pics on over the weekend of the progress so far, but here's a pic of the mag rear end.

Getting the engine bay and bulk head cleaned up today, so far got the front of the battery tray trimmed back inline with the bulk head ready for the x brace to come through to the strut tops. Just abit of welding to do on it this afternoon and that's another job ticked off the list

Yeah It was suppose to be done 2 month ago, but because I have been messed around with welding I couldn't get it done. But it was always going to get another acid dip before it got its e-coating.
It does look bad on camera, but it's only slight surface rust and mostly brushes off. Trust me i've been keeping an eye on it lol so its not doing any damage, but hopefully get it done in the next few weeks.

Got a bare engine built up and a box strapped to it, ready for it to be used as a mock up for the new chassis engine mounts to be welded in and to make sure there's enough clearance for the roll cage front cross, hopefully drop it off with Geoff at R.E.D in the next month and then it'll start moving forward again

I know its only surface rust so most of it brushes off, its going for another dip anyway after the welding is done.

Its booked in for spraying at Kartek in the middle of February and then to Rick at Dogtooth graphics to get all the graphics put on Here's a few pic's of it been stripped again and where its at atm.
