thanks to ag motorsport or andrew for sorting a set head studs and graham and ajc (andy) for sorting me a set collets just shows there some decent folks on here means engine can be built up now

Nice one on the rear brakes I almost finished doing that on mine a few year back but got offered a nice 305mm conversion kit far to cheap to miss out on
so never finished it, it was an easy enough conversion don't know why more people don't do it tbh,

so why did the old thread get deleted then?

yer its a cheap convertion 20quid for the discs rest i just made me self and sorted the carriers out ,rather than turning the discs down

was deleted cause i changed the title so was a wanted add my fault. i done a couple to fund my own car so im borderline trader im suprised he not deleted this thread yet

my head bolts turned up of agmotorsport won a flywheel cheaper than it would cost me get mine skimmed aswell last nite

Yeah I "opened up"t the carriers on mine also did thin about turning the discs down bit it was easier to get the grinder out lol

did the clutch convertion t nite think il just weld a section of tube in were the allen head bolt is ? anyone else done this ?

looking good Andy wot i do is use a very wosher inside the bellhousing and weld the 2 bolts to it so if you have to remove the cilinder at any time the bolts will not turn and it helps to stop them from dropping inside the gear box and i all so only used standerd nuts as its a pane in the ass to undo them when there up inside the tunel

Andy trust me you dont need to do that tube thing as there is a spring inside the slave so all it wonts to do is push so just weld the head on job done

engine is now with spesh for a build up ,done a bit more on the mods for clutch now aswell just need sort some fittings and hoses
