I actually quite like the car... Call me mad, but it reminds me of Mad Max (why I came up with my user name just in case anyone haddent figured it out.
I still think your mental for cutting up two perfectly good cars when, you could have just taken the engine out of one and shoe horned it into the Capri. It's hard, but I've seen it done with a V12 jag lump in a Capri before. (funny story about that one, I'll see if I can't find the post.)
I just can't get my brain round why you would would sandwich a Merc with Capri back and front.

You see in this image it didnt look too bad, the red was kinda gay but after that it looks like stuff went downhill?

what bit do you mean? do you mean when you look at it form the back and see the plate shapes..? or when you look at it from the back and you see the unfinished and bit that im gonna change so the window is vertical rather than at an angle (under the TOP plate)..?

oh that bit! they are just big steel plates that are tacked on. as i will probably alter them to look like louvres on an actual window (that you can buy in plastic, ally or fibre) i just welded once and ground it down a bit. just took any edges left over off with a bit of compound. till i know where and how much i have to alter EVERYTHING else on the body, its good enough as it is. the temporary stuff and time it took to get a doner car and somewhere to do it all was never supposed to last or take this long... but hey ho.

i use the grinder for everything these days (bit too powerful), not got a sander. pointless unless i come to do it all when finished all the welding..

i already made a gas powered 11mm, 7 barrel machine gun for the bonnet... did that when i was 18. even spins on its own for looks with an extra motor! and prescisely 47.2mm in barrel to case back length - THE SOLEreason i have no passenger door or seating.... to house the very large GAS TANKS and valve bodies.

I was willing to give you the benifit of the doubt, I was giving you a little encouragement as I didn't want you to give up, I didn't go on the usual pf bandwagon of how girls and cars dot mix, etc but it's fairly clear to everyone who has posts on this thread that not only are you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and a few sandwiches short of a picnic, if brains were dynamite you wouldn't have enough to blow your nose
