1998 escort 1.8 gti power upgrades options
having owned many sierras/mondeos over the last couple of years when my poor old mondeo 2.0i became not economically viable to pass the mot and went to the big scrapyard in the sky i stumbled onto my latest ride a 1998 ford escort gti 1.8
not being a tuning virgin by any streach of the imagination (several of my sierras where good cossie replicas including one that started off as a 1.8 cvh but when that one was stolen it had a 2 ltr pinto with twin 40s attached all k&ned up with a skorpion 3" stainless right back from the manifold)
my question is i am thinking about how to play with my new ride and a mate suggested a mad tweek using hybusa throttle bodies is this possible is it economically viable to do i obviosly need to play with the loom is there anywhere i can research the conversion and materials required for this
does anyone have any other suggestions short of dropping a cossie lump into her
i have been out of the tweeking game a few years now i know my old cars but new ones are a little different and there has prob been a few new ways to do things since my son was born (the main reason i stopped playing with cars in the first place) lol
many thanks for any suggestions made in advance
