Smile Project Finesse to RS.

First post but you gotta start somewhere!

Bought myself a Ford fiesta Finesse 54 plate about a year ago not initially intending to do anything with it. But after halve a year I could not help it and have ended up changing bits here and there.

Its finally got the the point on which I want more performance, I need to look into replacing the standard 1.25 v16 duratec for somthing more powerful in the long run. So looking into what engine would be a good match for it and all the components nessesary to make it perform brilliantly! Should it be a 2.0 duratec ST? a cosworth? or some other engine!

I'd imagine the performance/tuning part of the project would not start for a good number of months if not a year (until I buy a second car to travel too and from work in) but planning early may save me some late headaches!

So here lies the question at present. What engine should end up in this car?

Pics of the standard car and whats has been added to come...

Its definatly been a thought! looking into somthing which should not cost me an arm and a leg and getting one second hand are pretty decent price wise.

As for the pictures heres some from when I had just purchased it.

it be abit late late for that now as alloys have gone on! lol. but I do have the old steely's laying about so could always swap back now and then. A Cosworth would certainly be a challenge to get into its engine bay but would make it a weapon if I could pull it off. Also I took much notice of this...

But it would go and cost 5.5K for the stater of the range wouldn't it :)
