Hammerite & Fresh Paint Questions!

Just a couple of quick ones.

Before I put my interior back in the escort it's been suggested to scotch and hammerite the floor just to give it an extra barrier, any views on this?

Those who have had a re-spray how have you kept the paint free from minor scratches etc from washing.

its up to you really, me personly if it looks ok just leave it, if I wanted my floor painting id get it dome properly.

Would be better with a coat of waxoyl

Its all in good condition. but whilst everything is out I wasnt sure if it was worth adding a bit of extra protection.
