my mk 4 escort xr3i cosworth project
i bought a new project a xr3i mk 4 escort on a h plate,i bought it of a mate cheap without the engine, but ive got big plans for the engine, want a racing spec cvh lump with twin weber 40s! think that will go well.and sound nice! i bought a s1 bodykit of a mate of mine for 20 pounds so thought id put that on my mk 4 as looks smart.i also went 2 speed shack with a friend who bought sum parts and saw they had a cosworth rear bumper for a mk 4 so for 35 notes i had to have it.then i saw some clear rear lights on ebay and won them for a fiver.then i spotted a fibreglass cosworth bonnet on ebay and won that for 33 pounds.so all i need now is the front bumper and rear spoiler and thats the body work sorted.heres a photo when got it
and heres a photo what it looks like now

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I would have left the original RS skirts on and tried to find the front and rear valances to go with it.The old man had the kit fitted by Ford, back in the 80's cost a fortune as well.
