Default T25 on S1 RST

Hi All,

I'm trying to find out the best way of getting a T25 Turbo to fit on a Series 1 RST, it is my boys car and he has bought a T3 to T25/28 adaptor, but it will not fit, I think with the adaptor fitted there is not enough clearance. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've done a lot of research and a few have modified the exhaust manifold, would this be the best way forward?

My boy has copped the right hump with it and refuses to talk about it, he's 21 today so I thought I'd try and cheer him up a bit.

Regards

S

Why not just fit a std turbo? get one 2nd hand in GWO for £150..

if not, i'd take the manifold off, drill and tap it....or maching the flanges down so there is sufficient clearance.

you could have the manifold moddified but if done incorectly this could lead to cracking
