Looking spot on lee,I'm still not sure if I'd have out the mouldings back on but it looks stunning either way.
Well,I got my job offshore fella so mine will be built up before the summer and enjoyed for a bit.
She's made it clear it's NOT to be broken for spares as it's taken this long to get to where I am and giving up now would be silly.
Plus I think she wants to take it for a blast!!!
I was getting worried about storing it as some prick on my estate tried getting the council involved to remove my fence as it was too high for a "conservation area" but this would have left the car exposed to thieves, although this looks like being resolved now so fingers crossed.
I'm thinking ambers now after seeing yours although that maybe a bit daft on a 4wd?

Hi vaughan, thanks I'm very happy with it now! Great news about your job well done and you have definetly made the right decision to finish your car, it's a nice car in a rare colour be nice too see it done! We should meet up next summer when their both done... Fingers crossed!
I think Ambers would look good on yours due to the colour I have seen a few 4x4's with them fitted and they look good.

Havnt updated this for a few months as progress been slow due to work, but still been collecting parts and have now decided that I'm going to put together all the engine parts iv collected and go for 500hp.
So out with old engine! It's only done 2000 miles and is fully rebuilt, low comp etc but no good for 500hp as 205 block, so prob put it in my capri.
Here's the empty hole!
Old engine out.

Then gathered all the bits iv collected, chucked them in the boot and took them to scs Harvey Gibbs for machining, long studding and work all compression out etc etc
New 98 cast 200 block that came from ford boreham, not 99 Turkish!
New blank cosworth racing standard bore pistons
Un ground crank.
Aim is to have a 500+hp engine using as much new parts as possible so hopefully will be good for years! It's all up at scs now can't wait to get it all back, also having big winged sump done.
Here's the head, first skim, full 500hp spec port and polish by Dave Pritchard, many thanks.
