Really?? How long ago was that? Yes it was a nice example to rip apart but I needed a base a strong as possible really...
Kelv... not done much recently as im still waiting for some bits but will hopefully have them soon!
Bulk head is done, youl see the recess in the piccy along with the water rail.
Also I tacked something up to place the turbo flange where I want the turbo to sit, ian howell is currently working on the manifold, when the manifold is ready ian will be sending me my the custom inlet also
This is where the turbo will be sitting
Waiting for the custom flywheel to arrive aswell from TTV racing, runs a cossy clutch which is good as I have my bros AP organic from his 3dr that he gave me
Roll cage is in there although waiting to be fitted properly, pedal box is in but as the cage its only dummy fitted.. got to strengthen the bulkhead and make up plates as to where it will bolt up to.
In the pics youl see a plate replacing the old heater bubble, this is where the resovoir pots will be sitting along with the coil pack.
will update with more pics when I have some
thanks for looking

Thought I better put some piccies up as havent done an apdate in a while!!
Ive been waiting on a few parts for a flippin long time and there finally here wahoo
Not that much progress has actually gone into the car but shes getting there slowly, just trying to order up all the bits with a few months wait attached to them!!
Heres how she looks at the mo
Tunnel and bulkhead finished, the new steering wheel in there too
Took the inner wings back to metal also as the paint was pretty bad.... where the top mounts have been done before they havent done a good job of smoothing it in :x
Brake pots also
And welded all the little holes up to try and smooth it all
MK2 escort pedal box in, still need to play about with it but its basically there
Engine bay will be getting painted soon in cream along with the roof which is maybe what colour the car will be going in the near future
Now for the parts that arrived
Flywheel finally arrived.... 3 an half months late  They chucked in some pulleys because of the wait and my patience with them
My big valve ported and polished, double valve springed head arrived couple of days ago from AREA 6 "ian howell" who built the engine about a year ago so now the engine is good for whatever I throw at it  Just depends now what turbo I bolt to it!!
At the mo she will have the t34 which was previously used which will reach a good 370hp at a sensible boost level.
Once running il see how it performs but the next step is rebuilding the turbo into a t38, ian said with the spec that the engine now is a t38 should do 460hp  lol Think il see if it goes anywhere with 370 ish for now
Cam cover which I painted last weekend along with the new pulleys
Should look good together I think :ykt:
Heres the bit I think makes the engine bay look the dogs
My atlas axle is currently at fostek getting the treatment too Quaife shafts and diff and full rebuild!! Should handle what im gona be putting through it!!
Last but not least, im waiting on a price from GRS who is looking into a custom i/cooler for me which should be good, something that I can sandwich between the rad and grill. Its quite wide so shouldnt have a problem!
Oh and waiting for an exhaust manifold to arrive so I can butcher it up and try make something fit
I think thats all I have to say at the mo, will try and keep it updated more often!!
Think were aiming to get the exhaust tunnel done weekend after next so il show the progress
cheers

Cheers for all the comments peeps!
Kelv, yep thats cals... They were both featured last weekend so should be in the grafters section in classic ford soon?!
Got a few more updates, Atlas axle arrived from fostek but unfortunately we got a few things wrong so its gone back to be re-built
Shes booked in at simpsons also to have the exhaust manifold made so looking forward to that!
Pedal box is basically finished, throttle cable and clutch cable are all linked up and working.
Trying to sort out a header tank at the mo to go on the underside of the inner wing, then I can sort painting the engine bay out!
