decided to carry out this conversion cos i have had enough of the mfi system never being reliable i have decided to use a xr3i efi loom and sierra cvh cps parts i know some of u have proberly found a easy way of doing this but my loom has seen better days so i prefer to change it

iam wording everything as a bit of a simple guide for those who think this conversion is over complex and iam not a expert so if i make a mistake pls say

this i what i have done today engine loom removed and all mfi bits and pices

ok the cps system iam using consists of parts fom a 1800 cvh sierra they will need some adjustment i will post that when mine all fit

crank pully ,alternator pully,and alternator bracket


sierra cambelt cover this will be cut down to fit as i only need the bottom part to mount the cps


efi inlet manifold this one is from a 90 spec xr3i


coil pack and edis is also need ed for this conversion

crank machined and rocker cover cut to fit

cps fitted and connected up


coil pack fitted and it has a spark

hopefully have a new update next weekend depending on parts arriving

ok upadate time
sapcer plate arrived at last so i got the inlet manifold fitted bit of greif with the water pipes but got it done


and got my fuel pipe made and connected


hopefully will have it running as soon as the rocker cover arrives just a few more bits and it will be finished
