had my 520d lci serviced 2k ago and no one can get the light to reset, we have tried manually and using 4 pieces of diagnostic / reset equipment and none of them will reset it off to the stealers on saturday for the battery cable recall so might have to sweet talk someone

Nice car mate! It would be hard trying to source a set of wheels to fill them big arches on the E60s!

I have just bought myself an E46 330D M-Sport Touring in factory Estoril Blue. Can't wait to sort it out with lows and wheels too

Link below also highlights this to be it:

Thanks for the link ud.

I was aout to strip it down aain when I rememered some one ion another thread here say if it's been to PMW, where I tuck it for swirl flap removal, they automaticly check for a vortex, so I ran them and there records show I have the vortex fitted.

So happy days

Indeed! I'm having trouble finding a decent set of 20's that don't cost the earth! I received an email regarding the ones I wanted only to be told they cost near Ł5k !!

On a side note my coilovers should be here soon

Could be the wiring from the body to the boot it seems to be a common problem.

Have you checked the fuses for your lights or to see if you have power at the bulbs.

My mate says all the lights work from miniture ECU's or something along those lines on these, he's going to investigate for me, he's quite a clever sod.

But I am removing his engine and gear box to fix an oil leek so it's only fair lol

My mate who works in a back street garage had a 1 series bm at his work that came in for a head light bulb.He changed the xenon bulb and it still didnt work.He phoned bmw and they said it will be the ecu in the head light. He changed this at a cost of 300 quid and it worked.

Dear headlight bulb if you ask me lol.
