I'm sorry but in IMO it's not a sleeper it's slammed over the wheels the bad boy bonnet and the little slits either side of the headlights give it away and the sticker may only say turbo collectuve but still gives away big time whereas your cabrio is a perfect example very standard looks but packing a a sizeable lump of power under the hood.

Not fords but this is my old corsa 1.7 diesel.
I fitted a cavalier 1.7 turbo diesel engine to it.
Turned the fuel pump up, turned the boost up so it was holding 20psi.
Cat and middle silencer removed, front IC, K&N.
Was a very quick little car, suprised a lot of people but it used to eat gearboxes. I went through 3 boxes and 2 clutches in 18 months

this is the old field motorsport 400 bhp cossie lump. now replaced with a 530 bhp monster with anti lag etc.

paul says he might have built rabs red xr2 turbo with a mate of his too.

I am new to this thread but it would seem that most of the people have no concept of SLEEPER, It is supposed to be dead standard cars that are faster than he idiot next to you at the lights in his golf Tdi.

True sleeper is the daewoo or that awesome looking transit not some rs turbo with a dump valve on it.

This is my daily driver, back in 1989 Vauxhall decide to fit Carlton GSi running gear into the humble estate to make the 3.0 CDX, this ones a rare manual version

Ive since added larger 24v front brakes, lowered the suspension abit and fitted lower profile tyres for better acceleration, surprises a few people on the motorway hehe
