thunder saloon
this must be one of the widest sierra around.
just got it back from new zealand it needs a bit of work but does not look to much,
its an ex btcc car that has had a thunder saloon kit fitted, all in carbon fibre including bonnet , doors , tailgate, wings and rear quarters,
i will give it a check on the scale the weekend to see whot it weighs,
the mountune engine should help push it along,
heres a couple of pics,

i need a bigger garage as i can not get any more cars in there,
allready started to keep most of my spares in my storage at work,
these are huge!
not a huge fan of thunder saloon cars,
i even converted back my listerine car, to the original 500 spec,
but i mainly bought this car because of the labatts history,
out of the ones i have seen this one is starting to grow on me and i am now looking forword to driving it on the track,
this thunder saloons seams to be very well done,
and with all the carbon panels it should be very light,

this is my listerine car,
before i started restoring it,
and it was thunder salooned, it is sitting on my spare wheels 9"by 17" as it was too wide for me trailer,
had these with it which are still not as wideas these babys.
not as nice kit and fiberglass,
know it looks a bit more like the original car,

Looks great! I believe there is a listerine one here in Melbourne and if not, a replica of one. It is not used and stored along with a couple of old MK2 escorts.

the listerine car in australia is 100% replica
graham goode only built five serra RS500 race cars
no1 was the gun metal grey 87 car ( wrote off in testing late 87 )
no2 white 88 car ( my one)
no 3 mike newmans 88 car then re painted into black listerine car( mike still owns this one)
no4 grahams 89 black listine car( still owned by goode now sadly just a shell)
no5 grahams white mach5 car( still owned by goode and in there showroom)
so all there cars are know.
with anything in life you will get the haters who dont like anyone having anything nice,
all i can say is i work for a living and buy all my stuff with my own money for me not anyone else,

listerine car update.
engine/gearbox/prop/ intercooler/ rad/ all now in
fuel system complete
just needs some small jobs doing,
all dash gauges are now there and awaiting fitting,
and then the engine loom fitted,
so its getting there.
