Default Electrical gurus, please help.

After some advice please.

I've fitted a battery on my ZS track car, and initially had some issues with the lights (they all didn't do what they should). I realised it was a bad earth, sorted that and they all work as they should, other than the side repeater only on the passenger side.

The bulb is constantly lit, and I'm stuck as to why. I have tried:

Replacing bulb
Cleaning contacts
Checking earths
Changing indicator stalks
Checking fuses
Changing indicator fuse

I'm at a loss as to what else it could be, other than swapping that section of loom. I think there is just the single earth for it, but the drivers side functions fine.

Any suggestions as that what else I need to try?

Default Electrical gurus, please help.

Did the fault appear as soon as you replaced the battery?

It hadn't had a battery on for several years. Most of wiring has been trimmed/re-routed, although I'm fairly sure it's all worked in the past.

Clearly it has a supply from somewhere, and it won't be from where it's designated, as that is live with ignition.

As said, did this only happen when you fitted the battery?

I think it is only since the battery has been fitted. It's a motorbike style battery which I've fitted on the passenger side under the seat.

I've fitted the battery earth around 500mm from the indicator, could this causing an issue? Also could I splice into the indicator loom to add an earth, or would this not work?
